MTM's Bimoto TT First in Nardo, Italy

|
At the Autobild top speed test at Nardo Italy, the MTM Bimoto once again set the bench mark among all the high performance Super Cars. The November 17, 2007 event attracted 17 top tuners with their latest Super Car developments, to demonstrate their technically advanced Automobiles. Under extreme difficult weather conditions, the MTM Bimoto, driven by Florian Gruber, the current champion of the Seat Super Car Cup Series, was once again No.1. Below are the 7 top contenders:
Also participating finishing in 12th place was a BMW M5 G-Power with bi superchargers - 730 HP and top speed of 321.8 km/h. In 13th place was a AC Schnitzer GP with 552 HP and a top speed of 318.1 km/h. As quoted on the internet: “What to say? MTM is the best. Period.” Also quoted on the internet Autobild Top Speed report: “MTM Bimoto with 1020 HP, top speed 390.6 km/h (with sidewind, otherwise the 400 km/h-mark (250 mph) would be cracked) - this was otherwise the fastest car.” “Although the TT Bimoto has been probably receiving regular mods since it was released some years ago. But it is amazing to see that it keeps the lead in front of all the other tuners cars that are much more up to date.” (Roland Mayer with 1st place award)
Diplom engineer Roland Mayer, the Owner and
President of MTM, confirmed another record attempt at Papenburg is
planned, where the Bimoto recently set the track record of 393 km/h. At
JHM we congratulate Mr. Mayer and his engineering team to once again prove
to the industry and enthusiast that MTM’s developments and engineering
experience truly holds the No. 1 position in the engineering/tuning in the
world of high performance. We at JHM wish the MTM team success and good luck in achieving their goal in reaching the magic mark of 400 km/h or 250 mph for high performance Automobiles. We hope to see the MTM Bimoto on our US tracks next year after their 400 km/h-250mph record has been achieved and to show the US enthusiast and media the ultimate tuned Super Car and the capability of MTM’s engineering staff.
