Brake calipers

The brake calipers of the MTM sports braking systems are designed to suit appropriate vehicle category and location (front / rear) as either a fist or calipers. Calipers are floating and have a higher comfort. Furthermore,  due to their smaller design they are beneficial. They are therefore often used in lighter vehicles and / or rear axles.

Brake Discs
Larger wheels have a larger heat storage capacity and can therefore absorb more of the heat created during braking. This impacts on the stability of braking power (fading) is positive. To improve the heat dissipation into the ambient air, most brake discs on a complex ventilation system of cooling - fins any holes that direct the warm air from inside to outside.


Brake Hoses
The MTM-steel flex brake lines are stainless steel Teflon tubing and take account of their design to a lower volume of brake fluid. Helps to improve the pressure point, and are well protected against chafing.

Mounting options
Due to the larger version of the MTM sports braking systems, usually a larger space is required. It is to ensure sufficient clearance of the brake system to all adjacent parts .
